About Prime Dermatology

Looking for a professional home where you are respected, supported, and empowered to practice dermatology the way you always envisioned? Welcome to Prime Dermatology.

Founded by Dr. Neha Chandan — a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon — Prime Dermatology is a physician-led, locally-owned private practice recognized as one of Tampa Bay's leading Dermatology Practices. We provide a full spectrum of medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology, powered by state-of-the-art equipment and a seamless tech stack designed to let you focus on what matters most: the patient.

We invest heavily in our capabilities and our team. By maintaining a physician-led, collaborative environment, we protect a culture of excellence that benefits our providers just as much as our patients.

We are growing rapidly and just getting started. If you are a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner looking for a collaborative, long-term home in St. Petersburg, we want to hear from you.

What Makes Prime Dermatology the Best Place to Practice?

At Prime Dermatology, we believe that taking incredible care of our patients starts with taking incredible care of our providers. We've intentionally built an environment that rejects the corporate, high-turnover healthcare model, choosing instead to focus on professional longevity, mutual respect, and clinical excellence.

  • We are proudly physician-owned and operated, meaning our clinical decisions are driven by patient outcomes, not corporate bottom lines. Thanks to our distinguished reputation and deep roots in the community, you will step into a practice with built-in patient demand and a strong local referral base.
  • We believe in giving our providers autonomy while maintaining an open-door policy for collaboration. You will work directly alongside Dr. Neha Chandan and our clinical team, gaining access to mentorship, advanced training in surgical and cosmetic procedures, and peer-to-peer support without the burden of micromanagement.
  • We respect your expertise and your time. Our practice invests heavily in highly trained Medical Assistants, streamlined workflows, and a robust administrative infrastructure so you can maximize your focus on practicing medicine.
  • We have built a close-knit, collaborative team environment where every voice is heard. You aren't just filling a slot on a schedule — you are joining a professional home where you are valued as a clinician and supported as a person.
