Dr. Alexandra Summitt

Alexandra Summitt, DNP, FNP-C is an advanced practice provider specializing in the full spectrum of medical and aesthetic dermatology. A St. Petersburg native, Allie is deeply passionate about serving her local community by delivering expert skin care and promoting long-term sun safety.

Allie earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Florida in 2019, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UF in 2016. As a proud "Double Gator," she brings a high level of advanced clinical knowledge and a deep commitment to patient-centered care to the Prime Dermatology team.

Before transitioning into dermatology, Allie gained over three years of specialized experience in plastic surgery. This background allowed her to develop a master-level foundation in both medical and aesthetic procedures, giving her a unique eye for facial harmony and surgical-grade precision. Since 2019, she has focused her career on dermatologic excellence, ranging from chronic medical management to high-end aesthetic treatments.

Allie is dedicated to helping her patients look and feel their absolute best while maintaining healthy skin for a lifetime. Whether she is treating a complex medical condition or performing a full-face rejuvenation, her goal is always to provide a safe, inclusive, and highly professional environment.

Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys life as a St. Pete local, staying active in the community she grew up in and advocating for skin health and sun protection across the Tampa Bay area.
